Area: Sleep Lab
Platform Name: Bedroom A
Description: Each bedroom is furnished with a single-sized bed, a desk, nightstand, easy chair and dresser for clothes storage. It is equipped with a closed-circuit video camera and IR LED lighting for visual monitoring, as well as a porthole for connecting cables and passing tubing for collection of blood.
The shared control room is equipped with computers for monitoring each of the three sleep lab bedrooms.
The shared multifunctional space is equipped with computers, locked storage cabinets, sink, refrigerator, table, toaster, and microwave.
Adjacent to the multifunctional space is a consultation room (booked separately) that can be used as an interviewing room, for blood draws, cognitive testing or other purposes. It is equipped with locked cabinets and a sink. A portable freezer is located in the room for short-term storage of biological specimens, if needed.
There is one bathroom in the Sleep Lab area consisting of a sink, toilet and shower facilities. Linen (towels, face clothes) can be requested on demand.
